Bigfoot Barleywine Style Ale

ABV: 9.6%

Purchased at Bottle Revolution, Raleigh, NC for $2.59 for a Single Bottle.

Bigfoot 2012 boasts a dense, fruity bouquet, an intense flavor palate and a deep reddish-brown color. Its big maltiness is superbly balanced by a wonderfully bittersweet hoppiness.

It poured with a large frothy tan head. Initial aroma of sweet malts and hops. That first taste had a sweet tartness to it and it finished with a tad bit of bitterness. It had a bitey mouthfeel to it. It also had a fruity flavor that lasted throughout the tasting.

I really enjoyed Bigfoot 2011, this years release was not as sweet as last years release.

Buy again: Probably

Overall Rating: I give it a 7 out of 10.
